NEWS PAPER CLIPPING

OK folks find your cameras and spare batteries and a sweater it is time as of tonights meeting Jan 9 2007

We are "ROCKIN" The mover we approved earlier will be given the go ahead to start in the coming days {start date not known at this time}.

The mover will need 2 weeks to prep for the move. After that then the road trip will take approx 2-3 days depending on the weather and line crossings .Then the elevator will be set in the secluded spot at the museum .

I have seen the map it is totally approved and the route is 95 % set with the exception of maybe a mile or 2 in one spot.

The route has been driven 3 times over to be sure.

We know where we will be crossing the CP Rail main line.{mileage 29}

Keep tabs folks as I will be uploading more as I know it.

We have to have the road portion of the move done by the middle of March {due to road bans}

Your vcrs need to be set for tomorrow nights news on CTV {Tuesday Jan 23}
The lady interviewer {Lindsey Hoemsen} was at Mawer today at the old site talking to the persons who donated the elevator.
She also filmed the highline we have to cross.
There was also a segment done at the museum where the elevator is going to be restored

Tuesday Jan 23 7:30 am
If the segment doesnt air today Tuesday it will air tomorrow Wednesday
Air time in either case will be between 6 and 6:30 pm

WEDNESDAY Jan 24 8:30 pm
