Touring information

When coming out for a visit please allow yourself
2-3 hours just to go through things quickly.

We recommend 4 hours to see things in any detail

Depending on how involved you get looking/reminiscing it could take you several hours
or as some visitors have commented "days"

There is a fair amount of walking involved so please wear good walking shoes.

We have board walks{rebuilt in summer 2006}in some areas and grass in others

In the main office there is some snack foods, a pop machine, and souvenirs available for sale.

Modern and rustic washrooms on site.

The museum site covers about 40 acres and includes:
Tom Sukanen's ship
Diefenbaker Homestead{yes moved from Regina}
about 50 buildings
packed full of various antiquities.
as can be seen in the "virtual tour"

There are about 100 different models of tractors,
Also about 100 different models of cars and trucks
Lots of things for people of all ages to see.
We are a heritage Village with various buildings of all types.

Dogs are not allowed


No Smoking on museum grounds.

from about the middle of May
to about the middle of September.
